We follow all FAA and FCC guidelines to assure safe transmission and operation of radio tower sites. Our facilities are fully alarmed for intrusion, temperature extremes, FAA lighting, power outages, sound and un-authorized tower climbing.
All our towers are engineered for their current antenna configuraton & loading. We do it all, real estate acquisitions, lease negotiations, engineering, permitting, foundations, tower erections, antenna work, building installations, electrical, Telco, grubbing, roads, and full tower site maintenance including inspections, painting and re-lamping.
MidAmerica Towers, Inc.was incorporated in 1989 as a General Contractor, having installed thousands of radio tower sites. In the future we plan to continue to offer Quality Sites and services, with Safety First, Quality Always.
We design & build our own sites but have also purchased Former Microwave towers from AT&T, MCI, Sprint, GTE Space Comm , Western Union & Qwest. These former Microwave Towers have served their purpose as Long Distance telephone and data networks. Today, the dishes and radios are gone but these high strength towers are still used for important communications. We welcome & encourage the Co Location by all service providers.
